These surreal faceless portraits will haunt your nightmares forever, and they prove that not all art is happy sunshine and rainbows, art can also scare you. These portraits are the work of U.S based photographer Christopher McKenney, and his work is proof that horror is art too.
The people depicted in McKenney’s work seem to be trapped in a state of transition between two worlds, which is very much a reflection of his own work which is balanced between being both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
