Tiny House on Remote Icelandic Island Is Perfect for Those Who Don’t like People

Located just off the southern coast of Iceland is a placed called Vestmannaeyjar, and within that place is a beautiful unspoilt island called Elliðaey. On that island there is a single house that is probably the remotest dwelling on earth. We are guessing that for anyone who doesn’t like people, this is their idea of heaven.

Roughly three hundred years ago the five families lived on the island and survived by fishing, hunting puffins and raising cattle, but by the 1930’s the last inhabitants had left. Since then many have speculated over the ownership of the cabin, but the not so glamorous truth is that its a shelter for a local hunting association for when they hunt puffins.
