You read that right, in Mexico there is a bizarre looking underwater river that is caused by dense water. The strange looking phenomenon known as halocline is captured here by underwater photographer Anatoly Beloshchin and is caused by the water in the river being denser due to additional salt content.
These photographs reveal a beautiful underwater world in which the divers appear to be floating in.
