The Archipelago Cinema is easily the coolest cinema in the world and offers a movie experience that no other cinema could possibly match. Part of an event organised by Film on the Rocks Yao Noi which is a new film festival by Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Tilda Swinton.
The beautifully designed raft that the audience are seated on was designed by Beijing-based architect Ole Scheeren. Located in Nai Pi Lae lagoon on Kudu Island the only problem we can see with going to the film festival is that you might spend more time gazing at the incredible views around you rather than actually looking at the cinema screen.
