These Incredibly Detailed Portraits Are Not Photographs

What you are looking at might look like black and white photographs but don’t be fooled, it is actually the incredibly hyperrealistic pencil drawings of Malaysian artist Monica Lee. The artist likes to challenge herself by creating these complex portraits that are so detailed they look photographic.

You would think that Lee has been drawing in pencil her entire life, but she actually spent 12 years in the digital work before moving on to illustration. Each of these drawings take 3-4 weeks to complete, but the results speak for themselves.

Make sure to follow Lee on Instagram and Facebook.
