We’ve seen a few series similar to this before, one of them was screenshots from movies blending into their onset locations in New York City. In this series Damien Hypolite takes screenshots from Assassins Creed Unity which is set in the era of the French Revolution and then compares them to the buildings of today.
Damien spent the afternoon playing the game with a map of paris next to him, marking out places of architectural importance. He then went out to these locations and matched the real world up with his screenshots. The result is pretty clever and shows how accurate games developers were in the making of the game.
