Artist Creates Steampunk Animals from Recycled Car Parts, Electronics and Watches

Creating art from metal takes a lot of skill, but making art from recycled metal, electronics and old watch parts takes even more skill, talent and creativity. These amazing and intricate steampunk sculptures of animals are created by Russian artist Igor Verniy and it’s the amount of detail and work that goes into them that makes them so impressive.

Rather than just study other artworks and photographs of his animal subjects Verniy actually takes the time to observe them alive, and from this he is able to study the animals movements and then replicate that within his sculptures.

Using anything from old car and bike parts to recycled house hold items, electronics and watches he is able to create moving sculptures in this instantly recognisable steampunk style. Check out the awesome work below, but be sure to visit the artists Facebook  and Etsy page.
