There are plenty of optical illusions on the internet but none as beautiful or carefully crafted as Erik Johansson’s genius photoshop creations. The reason these illusions appear so real is because each one is a composite of a real photograph and digital artwork blended together.
Even though each final image can consist of up to 100 different image Johansson always strives to make it appear as if the image could have been captured in camera. The result is an eerily realistic illusion that blurs the line between whats real and what isn’t. Take a look in the photos below.
