Photographer Pierre Carreau has long been fascinated with the mysteriousness of the ocean and inspired by this he has now spent more than a decade documenting its power and beauty in a project titled AquaViva.
Carreau has a degree in business and used to work in IT before completely changing course in 2004 when he moved himself and his family to the Caribbean island of St. Barthélemy, allowing him to take the impressive photos you see below.
