This Incredible Glass House Is Entirely Transparent

Located in Saitama, Japan, this building named the S-House is made entirely of transparent glass, finished in a beautiful geometric inspired structure. The house was created by Yuusuke Karasawa Architects. Inside there are five levels that are all connected by twelve or more staircases that criss-cross each other through the centre of the building, forming an amazing beam pattern that can be appreciated from the outside.

The layout inside is almost like a labyrinth and as you may have noticed, there are no interior walls to separate the building into sections (with the exception of the bathroom). Whilst many will prefer a home that allows for a little more privacy, Karasawa says that the structure you see below is the result of a client brief that wanted to create a response to the increasing lack of privacy in the internet age that we live in.

It may not be to everyones taste, but we can all agree that the building is visually stunning.
