Blind Mother-To-Be Sees Her Unborn Baby for the First Time with 3D Printing

3D printing is changing the world that we live in for the better, with literally hundreds if not thousands of real world possibilities and applications and this example will truly touch your heart. This is the powerful story of how 3D printing has helped mother-to-be Tatiana Guerra to ‘see’ her unborn child for the first time ever.

Throughout pregnancy, ultrasound exams let both parents and doctors see how the baby is doing, sadly though Guerra lost her eyesight at the age of 17 which means that she would never be able to see her baby but with the help of a 3D printing station provided by Huggies that was made possible. The 3D printed bust was presented to Guerra as a surprise and the whole thing was caught on video.

Mother-to-be Tatiana Guerra got a surprise that she will always remember.

At the age of 17 Guerra lost her eyesight meaning she could not see her baby when she went to ultrasound scans.

Unknown to her, a 3D printing station was nearby ready to print a bust of her baby from the ultrasound scan.

And when she received the bust her reaction was absolutely priceless.
