This Solar-Powered Safari Lodge Is the Perfect Way to Get Closer to Nature

This unusually shaped solar-powered safari lodge located within Botswana’s Okavango Delta is the perfect way to get close to nature whilst still enjoying home comforts. Designed by architects Michaelis Boyd and Nick Plewman, the cocooned design was inspired by the pangolin which is an endangered animal that is native to Africa.

The minimal interiors that have been stripped right back further enhance the presence of the surrounding natural landscapes. We can imagine relaxing here for a week whilst watching wild animals pass by and enjoying the blissful natural silence of the African bush.
