Glass artist Ben Young uses glass in the most amazing way, by layering and cutting it into shape he’s able to create small sculptures that mimic bodies of water and embed small landscapes or islands within them. As glass is a solid you’d never think that it was possible to manipulate it in such a way however after a decade of exploring its properties this is exactly what young has grown to love about his chosen medium, “I like to play with the irony between the glass being a solid material and how I can form such natural and organic shapes” he told Colossal.
