For the past five years photographer Mark Mervai has been busy trying to capture what it is that makes the city of Budapest so beautiful and as you can see from the photos below he’s done an amazing job. Capturing some of the cities most magical moments during the first and last hours of the day Mervai’s photographs show the city of Budapest illuminated in a spectacular array of purple, orange and red hues.
As the sun sets the last few moments of sunlight reflect from bodies of water, off of building windows and shadows are cast on the cities impressive architecture. The end result is a sense of drama that Mervai’s photos do an excellent job at capturing. You can see more of his work on Facebook.
