Artist Goes Around Painting over Bad Graffiti to Make It More Legible

Graffiti can either be beautiful and impressive works of art or it can be mindless tagging and terrible fonts, the latter giving graffiti and street art a bad reputation. Even more annoying is that most of the tagging is done in fonts that are totally unreadable which is why French artist Mathieu Tremblin has come up with this awesome project.

In a bid to make ugly graffiti fonts more legible the artist has been photographing bad graffiti and essentially translating them using the power of Photoshop, the end result of which is this rather satisfying series. Some of them even start to look good!
