Giant LEGO Vehicles Have Been Appearing on the Streets of Ancient Rome

Most of us would have grown up playing with LEGO, creating fantasy constructions and worlds and keeping us amused for hours on end, but what if those creations came to life in the real world? well for one man, Italian architect and photographer Domenico Franco, that fantasy has become a reality as part of his latest project titled LEGO Outside LEGOLAND.

The fun series imagines what it would be like if LEGO vehicles such as life-sized trucks, helicopters, cars and more would be like started appearing on city streets, or more specifically in this case the city of Rome.

So how does Franco go about creating these giant life-sized LEGO creations? the truth is that they’re actually well crafted digital manipulations. That’s right, sadly he doesn’t go around creating giant LEGO constructions and instead creates them on a miniature scale, adding them to his photographs later on in such a way that makes them almost seem real. You can see more of his work on his websiteInstagram and Behance.

So, how have giant LEGO vehicles been appearing on the streets of Rome without causing confusion? the answer isn’t as exciting as it looks.
