Just when you thought action figures were for kids, Japanese photographer Hot.kenobi comes along and changes all of that with his brilliant photos of action figures and toys that tell a story through their playful and entertaining scenarios.
The Osaka-based photographer pairs rival from DC and Marvel comics into one world in which they battle each other as well as have some fun, whether that’s a soda can smashing competition or a snapshot of an epic action sequence, complete with clever composition and special effects that only further add to the realism.
We don’t know about you but we can’t help but think that Hot.kenobi could put together one seriously amazing stop-motion movie using these action figures. You can see more of his work over on Instagram.
