Photographer Captures Enchanting Photos of a Fox Named Freya in Polish Woods

Meet Freya, the adorable fox from Poland that most recently has been the subject of talented photographer Iza Łysoń’s photos. Animal lover and neurobiology student at the University of Jagiellonian, Cracow, Iza is only nineteen-years-old and yet her work has already been published by National Geographic, testimony to how talented she is with a camera.

Each weekend Iza retreats to a small village in Southern Poland with her adorable dog named Luna who’s a subject in many of her photos and it was the photos captured on these weekend trips that saw her work published on National Geographic which later formed the relationship she now shares with Freya the fox and her owner who reached out to Iza after seeing her work.

Freya was born in April 2015 and at first was a handful to work with and photograph – she is a wild animal after all, however after a lot of patience from Freya’s owner Roxanne and practice on Iza’s part the magical photos you see below were born. Throughout their photoshoots together Freya has improved at keeping still for photos however she still wonders wherever she wants and doesn’t respond to her name being called. Despite this the pair plan on embarking on many more photoshoots together, more of which you can see on Iza’s Facebook page, 500px and Freya’s very own Facebook page.
