Whilst 21-year-old Campbell Jones and his girlfriend were out on a bike ride through Rottnest, Australia, they stumbled across what has to be the friendly quokka in the world that wasn’t only willing to say hello, he wasn’t ready to say goodbye any time soon either. “As I walked back to my bike, the quokka chased after me,” Jones told the West Australian.
Naturally the interaction, all of which was captured on camera has left many people asking Jones why the Quokka felt so compelled to approach him in the first place with many people asking him over on Instagram to which he responded “My good looks I think.” The moment the Quokka set eyes on him it was love at first sight and the two of them even managed to share a hug together. Quokka’s are naturally quite inquisitive and have few natural predators which allows them to be less fearful of their surroundings.

But when it came to leaving again, the friendly quokka chased after him
He put down the GoPro and the friendly quokka lunged towards him as if to say “come back!”
And wit that the two of them shared some more cuddles together. It was clearly love at first sight!
