Stuck in a creative block freelance illustrator Isabelle Staub didn't know what to do, so she turned back to her childhood love for Disney for inspiration and what followed is the brilliant series below in which the artist puts her own stamp on Disney Princesses by giving them a far more realistic look.
Spending 8 to 12 hours on each image Staub creates her illustrations in a program called Corel before adding the final touches in Photoshop. With the series now complete many are asking her to start illustrating Disney villains and it's a series that Staub is considering for the near future. To see more of Staub's work you can head over to her website as well as Instagram. You can also buy her artwork over on Etsy.
