Digital artist and illustrator Istvan has created a series of digitally made and printed city maps on large sheets of acrylic glass. The series was created as part of a new exhibition in Venice that looks at how urban environments, mainly cities and the people that live in them can effect the surrounding environment.
The maps show the infrastructure of cities such as the buildings and roads that look like arteries and veins that are bleeding out into the surrounding area. It's an incredibly vibrant and literal visualisation of the effect large human settlements can have on the environment. Check out more via Behance.
