These might look like photographs of mountain peaks or towering glaciers but they are actually perfectly timed photos of waves taken by Australia-based photographer Ray Collins.
His photographs manage to capture the raw power and beauty of waves by taking a single moment and freezing it forever. Apparently Collins has always felt more at home in the ocean rather than on dry land and that shines through in his stunning photographs.
