It may sound like some wild fantasy, but the worlds first ever virtual reality theme park is real and it’s called THE VOID. It’s an experience like no other than promises to transport you to other worlds and dimensions as you battle aliens in space, dragons in dungeons and pretty much everything in between.
The VOID centre will be coming to Pleasant Grove, Utah in the summer of 2016. Participants will be provided with a head mounted display called the Rapture HMD which works in full HD and a vest that provides real feedback from bullets, laser beams and the environment you are. You also get a pair of gloves that will allow you to interact with the virtual world around you. All of this adds up to an incredibly immersive experience. The reviews seem good so lets hope it delivers when it opens next year.
