You’ve probably heard it before somewhere, and it’s something of a myth, but apparently the more symmetrical your face is the more attractive you are. To put this to the test, artist Alex John Beck created this fascinating photo series by mirroring the sides of the face perfectly.
Below, you can see one side mirrors the left side of the face, and the other side mirrors the right side of the face. He didn’t want to show the originals because they would be just ‘boring portraits’. Even so, it’s really interesting to see this theory in action.
