In early 2014, Rowden and Leizel made the decision to get married in July. Not long after they made that big decision, Rowden was diagnosed unexpectedly with stage IV liver cancer. He was unable to leave the hospital and the couples hopes of getting married were beginning to fade.
Their friends and family were not prepared to let Rowden pass without him getting married to the love of his life. They worked together with the hospital to bring the ceremony to him, and it was worth it. This is probably the most special wedding ceremony you will ever see.
Rowden tragically passed away ten hours after the ceremony, leaving behind his wife Leizel and their 2 year old daughter Zakiah. He is no longer with them, but they will always have this incredible and touching moment to look back on.
