We all know that dogs are mans best friend, but what about elephants best friend too?. Meet Bubbles the African elephant and her best friend, a black labrador named Bella.
Bubbles is an orphan elephant that lives in an endangered animal sanctuary in Myrtle Beach Safari, South Carolina. Bubbles has been living at the sanctuary since 1983 after her family was killed by poachers. In 2007 along came Bella, the pet of a contractor who was hired to build a pool, the contractor abandoned his dog and left Bella at the sanctuary.
Ever since then the pair have been inseparable. Their love for each other is clear in these truly amazing photos.
