For all you nerds out there, (I say ‘you’ but really I mean ‘us’) that are longing for some sort of Pokemon fueled fun on your iOS device, the wait may be coming to an end.
A Pokemon trading card game for iOS was set to be shown at the Pokemon World Championships in Washington DC last weekend. A representative from The Pokemon Company has confirmed the game is real and official, but unfortunately couldn’t give any sort of timeline for its release.

Hopefully this paves the way for a fully fledged Pokemon game, similar to the ones we used to spend hours on as kids on our GameBoy’s.
