Minimalistic Black and White Photo Series Captures Energetic Movements Mid-Air

This minimalistic black and white photo series captures the energetic movements of people in mid-air, and the result is simple yet beautiful. The photo series was the final year project of University student Tomas Januska. The concept and thought behind the photos was to imagine what a world of weightlessness might look like.

Photographing dancers and ordinary people we would say he has done exactly that. During the photo shoot those in front of the camera would have to jump up to 600 times. He decided on a white back drop because it gives the sense that the space surrounding his subjects is endless which really makes them appear to float.
