Singapore based artist Ivan Hoo creates these incredible hyperrealistic works of art that are drawn directly onto the surface of wood. Using just pencils and pastels he is able to create illustrations that are so realistic they almost leave you fooled.
Some of the drawings you see below play with perspective to give them a 3D look that makes the appear to be jumping out at you. Hoo’s work is another example of the unusual materials people can use as a canvas for art.
