These miniature sculptures are all carved by Recep Alçamlı, a Chemical Engineering student from Turkey. Using just the graphite from a pencil he is able to sculpt letters, animals and even small sections of scenery. Given that graphite is a very brittle material that is easily broken, these sculptures become even more remarkable.
His incredible eye for detail and extra steady hands ensure that each pencil he gets his hands on is transformed into unique mini artworks.
