Plastic Bags Transformed into Beautiful Flocks of Birds by Alain Delorme

We love the use of unusual materials to create art here on Blazepress, just the other day we covered an impressive owl sculpture made of old junk by street artist Artur Bordalo.

Rather than use old corrugated sheets of metal and rubber tyres Paris-based photographer Alain Delorme uses the humble plastic back to trick us into believing we are looking at a flock of thousands of birds flying in harmony together.

Don’t worry though – he isn’t chucking thousands of plastic bags into the environment. He scans a single plastic bag in various positions and then using Photoshop adds each one into an image. Just one image can contain over 10,000 plastic bags.

Make sure you check out the photographers work via his Facebook and Website.
