The final 10 movies for the Visual Effects category for the 87th Oscars have been announced after the Academy’s Visual Effects Branch Executive Committee released their shortlist. All members will now be invited to watch 10 minute excerpts from each movies on Saturday the 10th of January 2015 and then the list will be narrowed down to just 5 films for the final oscar consideration.
The announcement of the those last 5 nominations will be made live on Thursday, January 15, 2015, and then the final winner announced at the Oscars in February. Check out the final 10 movies below.
