Mother Shows off Her Brilliant Dark Sense of Humour in Family Photos

Mother of two and actress Susan Copich has a brilliantly dark sense of humour that helps her take hilarious photos that break the traditions of family photography.

The series titled “Domestic Bliss” came about after Susan reached her mid-forties and realised that in every photograph of her family she was missing so she decided to do something about it by taking photographs that express who she really is.

“If you’ve met me, I have a very seemingly sunny disposition, but I have a whole interior world where at different times I’ve felt depression and angst. For many years, I put it in a little ball, and I decided to just explore it this time. It’s been so fun to bring those feelings out and give them light,”

Each photograph features a ‘twist of darkness’ that challenges ordinary family photos and leaves us with a smile on our faces.
