Vibrant Swirling Paints Photographed by Mark Lovejoy

These vibrant photographs by artist Mark Lovejoy don’t look like paint, they look more like melted plastic or huge mixtures of sticky candy. Creating such incredibly patterns is not by chance, as the process to achieving something this cool is far more complex than simply mixing some different coloured paints together.

Mixing resins, oils, diluents, waxes and drying agents these sticky mixtures are photographed, reworked and then reshot, the result is a colourful image that looks like an almost perfect disaster. You can check out more of the artists prints via his website which he updates daily.
