Mango the cat has his own home and an owner, yet he prefers to spend his time in his local Tesco’s in Tiverton, Devon, hiding amongst deals and bargains on the shelves.
Mango became something of a local celebrity after he was allowed to stay in the supermarket, allowing him to perch on shelves, chairs and trolleys. He is more than happy to pose in pictures with locals and could often be found curled up on the carpet at the entrance of the store or hiding amongst stock.
Sadly it turns out that Mango has since been evicted from Tesco due to health and safety concerns. Luckily he has a home to go home to just down the road.
