Scientists generally discard the idea that a reversal in the earths magnetic field will cause a mass extinction, but we can all still imagine. French artist François Ronsiaux has created a series titled United Land in which he imagines a crazy apocalyptic world submerged entirely underwater.
Of course for this to actually happen sea level would have to rise nearly 300 metres so it’s a pretty crazy idea, but still fascinating to look at. Below you will find some of the worlds most iconic buildings and cities completely submerged. Check out more via the artists personal website.
