These spectacular black and white photographs taken by Warsaw based photographer Tomasz Gudzowaty show Shaolin Monks training and meditating at the Shaolin Temple in Henan Province.
About Tomasz Gudzowaty
Tomasz was born in 1971 in Warsaw, As an adult he gained recognition in the realms of documentary and fine art photography and also won several awards for his work.
The most amazing fact about Tomasz is that he got to travel to more than 100 different countries in all continents for his photography projects. His passions are social issues, sports and wildlife.
The photos below are from a gallery he created about Shaolin monks and their interesting lives. As we all know these guys have a unique reputation and they usually portrayed as Kung Fu ninja worriers, the men have amazing self control for both mental and physical.
Tomasz was able to spend some time with a few monks and capture them in their training and natural environment.
