Japanese Army Uses 3,500 Tons of Snow to Create Epic Star Wars Sculpture

The Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces’ 11th Brigad have proven that they are probably the worlds biggest Star Wars fans and talented snow sculptures all in one go by creating this truly monumental snow sculpture of Darth Vader and his Imperial forces.

Using a bulldozer they piles together some 3,500 tons of snow and then sculpted out of this mound a 23-m wide and 15-m tall work of art as part of the Sapporo Snow Festival.
