It might appear as if lava or fire is flowing from the rocks in Yosemite National Park, but it is actually a rather beautiful natural phenomenon caused by perfect weather conditions. These photographs of Horsetail Fall located in the park where taken by Reddit user dirtyfries and show the setting sun illuminating the cascading water.
This natural phenomenon is referred to as Firefall and there is actually an entire website dedicated to them, Yosemite Firefall. Apparently the best time each year to capture them is in February.
