Amazing Spanish Home Features a Transparent Rooftop Pool

Most homes that are fortunate enough to feature their own pool normally have them in the back garden and sometimes even have amazing views too, but this house pretty much tops the lot of them for the coolest private pool ever.

Forget a standard infinity pool, the Jellyfish House in Marbella on the Mediterranean coast of Spain features a rooftop pool that offers spectacular and unspoilt views of the surrounding landscape, whilst also acting as the coolest skylight you can get. While people swim and sunbathe in the sun, light flows through the pools partially transparent floor and sides, illuminating the inside of the building.

The house was designed by Wiel Arets Architects and is an impressive feat of engineering considering that the pool weighs an astonishing 66 tons.
