Guy Creates Shoes That Grow 5 Sizes in 5 Years to Help Millions of Poor Children

Inventing something that can have a positive impact on millions of peoples lives isn’t easy, but that doesn’t mean that it always has to be extremely complicated. The Shoe That Grows is a sandal invented by inventor Kenton Lee that can adjust in size 5 times allowing them to last for up to 5 years to provide millions of impoverished children around the world with shoes.

The problem is probably a lot bigger than you think. According to their website “There are over 300 million children who do not have shoes. And countless more with shoes that do not fit.” Whilst shoe donations go some way to making this number smaller, they are often quickly outgrown and don’t last.
