All you have to do is look up at night and you'll be reminded of how insignificant we are on this tiny planet, but thats not a luxury everyone living in heavily populated areas can enjoy because of light pollution.
This is were Gavin Heffernan and Harun Mehmedinovic come in. They are making a book and a timelapse series titled Skyglow that imagines how a heavily populated city, in this case Los Angeles, looks at night without any light pollution.
Through doing so they aim to explore and educate on how light pollution effects the world that we live in and how it will impact us in the future. For more information on the project visit Kickstarter.
