Although the timing of it’s announcement on April 1st made many believe it was some sort of elaborate April fools, LA-based video game peripheral company Hyperkin announced they would be making a device that turns your iPhone into a GameBoy… sounds awesome right? but there is a catch.
They later confirmed that the device is real however no release date has been set for the device and when it does launch it will only be available for iPhone 6 Plus users. Hyperkin have stated though that models for other smartphones will be made at a later date.
Sure, you could just use an emulator, but nothing will come quite as close to the experience of holding a real GameBoy shaped device as you play classics such as Pokemon and Zelda.
