Artist Guy Laramee has found a brilliant way to use old books, by transforming them into mountainous landscapes!. Taking inspiration from the places that he’s travelled to and visited he carves landscapes into the old books, paying attention to every detail, from rocks to trees, canyons and cracks. In his most recent trip to Brazil Laramee was not only captivated by the stunning landscapes but by the birds too. As part of his latest works he’s decided to continue with his theme of carving the books into mountains, with the addition of elaborately painted birds on the books covers.
