Another reason why books are awesome.

Japanese artist Yuto Yamaguchi can transform hardcover books into free standing sculptures by simply folding their pages, no cutting required. By creasing each page individually he is able to to fold precise lines, curves and create a sense of depth that makes his art pop from its canvas.

The coolest part is that Yamaguchi sells the guides to create your very own on his Etsy shop OruFun. Each of them contains a step by step guide that will take you from normal book to work of art. You can see more of his work on Instagram.
