Covent Garden Gets Filled with 100,000 Illuminated Floating Balloons

This looks amazing.
Publish date:

French artist and photographer Charles Pétillion's latest work at London’s Covent Garden consists of 100,000 white balloons that have been illuminated from the inside, creating a truly surreal glowing cloud of light. The installation which is titled ‘Heartbeat’ is part of the London Design Festival and isn't the first of its kind from Pétillion who has filled unusual spaces before in a series of photographers titled Invasions

This is however his largest installation to date and will be on display from now until the September 27, 2015. Checkout the video below which features the making of Heartbeat and an interview with Pétillion.
