Self proclaimed "crazy cat man" and photographer Andrew Marttila takes beautiful macro photographs of cats eyes in this mesmerising series. Specialising in photos of cats, the Philadelphia-based photographer captures the beautiful colours and details within their eyes that would otherwise go un noticed by most.

Marttila was actually born with an allergy to cats and dogs however he decided at 22 to build up his immunity through exposure to larger animals, which now allows him to work as a pet photographer. Although he's only been photographing pets for 2 years now he has worked with some of the internets biggest cat stars including the well known Grumpy Cat. He also has his own Bengal Cat named Haroun who is pretty popular online too thanks to his Instagram.
