German artist Meike Nixdorf has become fascinated with the topography of earth ever since using Google Earth, the powerful satellite imaging tool that allows you to see pretty much anywhere in the world.

After discovering how amazing it can be at capturing unique and awe-inspiring perspectives of both famous and lesser known locations around the world she decided to embark on a project titled Your Earth Transforms, which takes the most beautiful perspectives on Google Earth and transforms them into postcard worthy pictures.

Despite the almost infinite amount of photo opportunities Nixdorf still spends hours selecting and choosing just a handful of photos, many of them rejected in the end due to poor resolution. Then with the help of digital retoucher Grit Hackenberg they set about adding in colour and texture, creating some truly beautiful images.
