We’ve all heard of Arizona’s Grand Canyon, but just because of it’s size and fame doesn’t mean it’s the only place worth knowing about. This is Fjaðrárgljúfur located in Iceland and it’s probably the most beautiful canyon in the world.
At points the canyon can reach 100 metres deep and is around 2 kilometres long. It also has the Fjaðrá river running through it, further adding to its beautiful appearance. The canyon has been created over millions of years due to erosion caused by melting glacier water, proof that when it comes to beauty nature does it best.
