The BBC recently shared a truly amazing video of a volcano in Patagonia erupting with a giant electrified volcanic ash plume. Known as volcanic lightning or a dirty thunderstorm this incredible phenomenon occurs when volcanic ash, rock fragments and ice particles collide together. Watch the video below!
